YOUTH REFINEMENT

grassroots.
stubborn on purpose.

Nima Kings FC Grassroots Refinement Program is a systematic, merit-based, free-to-access grassroots football refinement model. We build technically secure, tactically intelligent and mentally resilient players — and better human beings.

What we do

Football for every kid.

Our grassroots refinement program is a systematic, merit-based, free-to-access grassroots football refinement model. We identify talent early, refine it through structured phases, and progress players into the academy pathway based on character and ability — not who they know.

The three phases of the NKFC Grassroots Refinement Program

The structure

3 phases. One pathway.

01
Ages 7–12

Elite

Elite talent only. Players who show exceptional pace, technique or game IQ train in advanced tactics, video analysis and competitive scrimmages.

02
Ages 7–11

Foundational

Solid players who follow instructions well. Technical drills combined with 3v3 positioning to build confidence and decision-making.

03
Ages 5–9

Recreational

Beginners or kids who still need support with listening and coordination. High-repetition, basic motor skills. No tactics — just fun and fundamentals.

Assessment

What we refine and measure.

Criteria
What we refine & measure
Character
Listening, respect, discipline, response to mistakes
Fitness
Speed, agility, endurance
Skill
Ball mastery, passing accuracy, striking
Understanding
Decision-making, game IQ

Advancement

No ceremony. Just merit.

If a child dominates in their current phase, they are automatically pulled up to the next phase immediately. No ceremony. No parent meeting. Just a simple text communique: "Your child is moving to the next phase in the next training session."

Any player who turns 10 is automatically scouted for the U12 squad. They train with the actual U12 academy as a "trialist." If they hold their own, they are part of the squad. If not, they are released back to their phase for further refinement.

By the time they are 12, they are either in the U12 squad or maintained in their current phase for refinement. No hard feelings — just honest feedback.

The pathway

  1. 1Join the right phase for current ability
  2. 2Dominate the phase → automatic promotion
  3. 3Turn 10 → U12 trialist invitation
  4. 4Hold your own → U12 squad
  5. 5Need more time → return to phase for refinement
